How I Got Started

I was practically born to work with sewing machines in some way, as my dad owned his own sewing machine factory. Growing up around all of those machines, I had the opportunity to feed my natural curiosity about them.

Starting at 16, I went to work in the factory with my dad and two uncles who taught me everything they knew about each type of sewing machine. Through watching my uncles and dad, and through experience of my own, I became familiar with which type of machine should be used for certain materials, as well as the various sewing techniques.

Now, I use this knowledge to serve clients of all kinds throughout the entire state of New Jersey! I’ve worked with awning companies, upholstery companies, interior decorators, dry cleaners, alteration shops, dress makers, and plenty of other professions in the fabric working industry. I called Pat to service my Mom’s 1948 singer sewing machine that hadn’t been used since 1992. He came to the house so I didn’t have to haul it someplace which I appreciated, went through the whole machine and didn’t leave until it worked perfectly. His expertise is almost a lost art. He really knows machines. His prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend him. I would use him again in a minute.

Pat and his expertise is priceless! This kind of experience and service is rare. He does house calls only, so I didn't have to lug my machines to him, he came, repaired two machines, (one an antique Featherweight) got them both up and running again after years of neglect and no maintenance. I am so happy to have them working again! I highly recommend him. Five stars all the way.

Last night i had a problem with my longarm qulting machine. I called my locall sewing repairman for advice for someone to help me. He gave me Pat's Sewing Machine Repair's number. It was well after working hours, so I though I'd leave a message and hear from him in the morning. BUT, he answered!!. I brefly explained the problem, he asked a few questions and was walking me through my problem. He stayed with me while i tried the remedies he suggested. It worked!
